The fourth and final.

This is one of my four paintings for my final project. It is 4 ft X 5 ft and it is a portrait of my best friend Brooke. She is modeling for me in the studio and is really great. The background I painted from outside and am incorporating elements of the figure into the background and from the landscape to the figure. The colors are very basic and vibrant and I am having fun learning how to balance the warm colors with the touches of blue and green. I can't wait to paint on it more and build it up. This is a unique opportunity to capture my best friend in a different light and portray her in a way she might not perceive herself. I will update next week. Enjoy!
